My first cocktail recipe for you is the Sapphire Peppered
Peach Tea Collins and it tastes as good as it sounds! While I am no fan of Bombay Sapphire (or gin
for that matter), this cocktail is so smooth and refreshing! The pinch of black pepper evens out the
floral notes of the Bombay Sapphire and the simple syrup gives it just the
right amount of sweetness. This is a
great cocktail to serve at a picnic or by the pool on a hot summer day. I think it would also pair nicely with a nice
Cobb Salad or some grilled barbeque chicken.
Let me know what you think!
INGREDIENTS
1.5 parts BOMBAY SAPPHIRE® Gin0.5 part fresh lemon juice
1.5 part simple syrup
Peach Iced Tea
Pinch of Black pepper
PREPARATION
Build with ice in a Collins glassAdd more ice, top with club soda and stir well
Garnish with a peach slice and lemon wedge
I don’t hesitate to try gin based cocktails like I used to
as the craft cocktail has come a long way and this one is definitely going in
my recipe tank!
